Founders enter the company domain they control. Sabaki generates the investor subdomain and the exact records to add. No registrar login, no nameserver migration, and no broad DNS-account permission is required.
Add two DNS records
A TXT record proves domain control. A CNAME record routes the investor subdomain to Sabaki's custom-domain edge.
Verify and publish
Sabaki checks DNS, provisions HTTPS, and only prefers the custom domain after the records and certificate are ready.

Domain ownership stays explicit
Sabaki verifies DNS records before activating the room. Reserved Sabaki domains, local hosts, IP addresses, and malformed hostnames are rejected.
HTTPS is managed before traffic moves
Custom-domain public links are preferred only when the mapped room is active and TLS is managed.
Access controls still apply
Email verification, document permissions, view-only restrictions, watermarks, download controls, and room-level gates remain Sabaki-managed.
Revocation is immediate
Founders can disable the investor domain from Sabaki. The mapping is revoked and Sabaki stops serving that room from the custom host.
What the user actually sees
They see the domain they entered, the exact TXT and CNAME values, verification status, TLS status, and a disable action. That is enough information to complete setup without asking for sensitive account credentials.
